Eating Disorders
Eating Disorders, Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, picture of girl.

Anorexia Nervosa

Anorexia Nervosa sufferers worry more and more about their weight. They will find many different ways to reduce their weight by eating a lot less than normal, taking on more and more exercise to reduce their calories and also finding other habits they can do to reduce the feeling of hunger such as smoking or gum chewing, taking away the need to eat.

When sufferers have reduced their weight they find they continue with this compulsion to loose weight, even though they are already below the required weight for their body
stature.

Bulimia Nervosa

Bulimia Nervosa sufferers again worry more and more about their weight. They become binge eaters, collecting large amounts of foods, preferably foods that are fattening, such as chocolate, sweets, cakes or perhaps eating foods they would not normally eat. The food would then be taken to a room and eaten secretly, very quickly. Bulimia sufferers can quite often consume rather large amounts of food in a short amount of time.

This would then result in the sufferer feeling extremely full and very bloated. The next step would then be to empty their self of the food consumed by vomiting or in some cases by using laxatives. The feeling of guilt and depression then follows. This eating disorder is extremely unpleasant for the sufferer, but it becomes a routine that they are unable to release their self from.
